- 2pcs Fatshark NewWave 5.8Ghz Video receiver module (http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__19447__FatShark_Dominator_5_8ghz_Module_.html)
- 1pc RECOM 5V 1A step down regulator brick
- 2pcs 470uF/16V electrolyte capacitor
- 1pc 3000uF/6.3V electrolyte capacitor (Or whatever capacitor you have above 1000uF)
- 1pc Common mode choke
- 1pc decade switch or dip switch
- Connectors, project box, cables and lot’s of hot glue.
U-Blox module HW hacks
Recently cheap U-Blox modules become available from Chinese suppliers on ebay and other online shops. The NEO-6M gps engine on these boards is a quite good one, with high precision binary output. However all of the available modules have a significant problem, they do not have EEPROM for storing configuration. You can retrofit these modules with an EEPROM quite easily. I was working on many small and large projects during the past couple of years, and most of these projects were related to my hobby; RC flying. The results or remnants of these projects are scattered over the internet. So I decided to collect these information, my current projects and present them in an “organized” way. This is how EOSBANDI.COM conceived.
You will find tips and tricks, source code, schematics and many more. Most of these are RC related, some others are for photographers and videographers. Since it is my hobby, I’m cannot guarantee that these thing will work for you as well as for me. Use them at your own risk.
Please take a look, and if you find something interesting feel free to use it. However if you planning to use something commercially I mandate you to contact me to discuss the details and licensing. Free stuff does not mean that you can make revenue from it for free.
